ABOUT ABOUT
For centuries, traders have braved the whirling desert sands and the rough ocean waves to bring the exotic spices of the East to the Western world. Geek Girl Productions joins in this tradition as we import the finest burlesque rarities from a faraway place where caravan camels roam to the New Amsterdam market. Join us for a night of trade as the wind blows in beauties from the East as the sun shines on gorgeous specimens from the West while the sands in the glass pass at just the right pace. Grab your carpet and fly on in to the Spice Market tonight!

'The Spice Market' is a steam punk themed burlesque revue that will be held at Tagine in Manhattan. Just a short walk from the A, C, E to 42nd Street - Port Authority Bus Terminal or the N, Q, R, S, 1, 2, 3 to Times Square - 42nd Street, Tagine is located at 537 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10018. General admission is $10 at the door or $7 in advance through TicketLeap at http://geekgirlpro.ticketleap.com/.

PERFORMERS:

Apathy Angel is a multifaceted artist and performer living and working in NYC. With her provocative and innovative take on underground entertainment, she’s sure to create a stir wherever she goes.

Emy Electric has been a performer all her life. From singing as backup with Elton John, Sting, Smoky Robinson, James Taylor and Patti LaBell, to dancing and singing at the New York Theater (the David H. Koch Theater), Emy practically grew up on the stage.

Jess Distress is an accomplished DJ, photographer, fire performer and burlesque performer. With her many talents combined into an amazing performer, don’t be surprised if this damsel in distress gets out of her dress by the end of the evening.

HOSTED BY:

A Count Named Slick-Brass has been known as many things. As a gambler, a smuggler and a scoundrel (among his other titles), the Count never fails to remain excessively modest and voluminous. Be sure to catch A Count Named Slick-Brass along with the crew of his ship, the A.S.S Titilus.
