ABOUT ABOUT
I still remember the first time I laid eyes on Elizabeth. It was a cold night in October, and I was coming home from a long day on the beat. Had I known then the things I know now, I’d have steered clear of her, saved myself the trouble and her... well, she lost a lot more than I did. I solved one of the toughest cases in the history of the city because of her and she got the thankless bit. This is the story about how we came to meet. It’s our story, the story of a tired detective on a long case and the beautiful woman caught up with the wrong types of low lives that helped him crack it. More importantly, it’s her story. This is the story of Elizabeth Hutchins.

‘The Story of Elizabeth Hutchins’ is a series of three live shows and three web episodes that tell the of the fictional burlesque star Elizabeth Hutchins and the mystery surrounding her. The live shows present a burlesque show framed within a noir styled dramatic monologue from the perspective of a private investigator and the web episodes focus on Elizabeth’s side of the same events.

'The Story of Elizabeth Hutchins, Chapter 2’ will be held at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre in Manhattan. Just across the street from the Christopher St - Sheridan Sq 1 train station stop, the Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher Street, New York, NY 10014. General admission is $12 at the door or $8 in advance through TicketLeap at http://geekgirlpro.ticketleap.com/ or with RSVP through the Duplex at http://www.theduplex.com/.
